All of the camps have waiting lists. Call the Recreation office to be placed on the waiting list. Only pay if you participate.

OHS Courts Tennis Lessons Schedule

Munchkins 8:30am - 9:00am M, W, F
3rd & 4th Grade 9:00am - 10:00am M–F
5rd & 6th Grade 10:00am - 11:00am M–F
7rd & 8th Grade 11:00am - 12:00pm M–F
High School Boys 9:00am -10:30 and 1:00pm - 2:30pm M–F
High School Girls 10:30am to Noon and 1:00pm - 2:30pm  M–F

Ottawa Rec Summer Park Supervisors

Ottawa Recreation is accepting applications for Summer Park Recreation Supervisors and Summer Recreation Assistant Park Supervisors.  City ordinance requires applicants to live within Ottawa city limits, and all applicants must be high school graduates.  All applications in any form must be received by Friday, April 6, 2018.  Mail or drop off applications to Ottawa Recreation, 301 W. Madison Street, Ottawa.  Or email the application to cityrec@cityofottawa.org.

Registration forms and rules for Adult Softball will be available online or at City Hall  or at The Ottawa Y in early April.  

Online and Mail-in Registration for Summer Recreation Programs will begin when the brochures are available after mid-May.  

  • Call Tim Trumbo, Adult Sports Director (815) 252-8698 , with questions regarding adult softball, adult kickball, or adult basketball.
  • To reserve a shelter, contact City Hall at (815) 433-0161.
  • Ottawa Recreation no longer sponsors Jim Sutherland Tball.  The various leagues host their own Tball programs as does Grand Ridge.  Youth League registrations usually occur the first part of February.  Check the Youth Leagues Tab on the left of the page to access specific youth league information.
